Aws a5.18 ER70S-6 (sg2 g3si1) is the ideal filler metal for all medium base material to heavy mill scale, sheet metal at 380 – 485 mpa (55 – 70 ksi) yield strength material, automotive repair , robotic or hard automation and structural steel. Supports short-circuit, globular, axial spray and pulsed spray transfer in all positions.
It is:low spatter, high speed, free of porosity, good granule appearance, easy to weld;
The shield gas is:100% co2, or 80% t air + 20% t co2;
E71T-GS gasless flux cored soldering wire, no need gas shield
Aws E71T-GS self-shielding flux colored wire designed to weld fine carbon and carbon-manganese steels in all positions.
Shielding gas is not required, all positions, single and multi-pass welding,
Low spatter, complete slag coverage, easy slag removal, free porosity, good granule appearance.
Slag easily removable, versatility; suitable for welding galvanized & zinc-coated plates as well.
Applications include car body repairs, tanks, boilers, structural steel works (large thickness), earth works and construction works.
