Operation instructions
Power on/off
Press the power button and last over 1 sec, it will show “POWER” and then u can use it for testing. Press the power button again, it will be off.
Sensitivity switch
The pretermission when power on is low-sensitivity status. Press the sensitivity switch/flashlight button for less than 1 sec then u can switch it from high-sensitivity and low-sensitivity. When it shows “S”, it means high-sensitivity and if the light is off, then it is low-sensitivity. Pls note the high sensitivity range is 12-1000V and low-sensitivity range is 48-1000V
Flashlight
Press the sensitivity switch/flashlight button and last for over 2 sec, the flashlight will be on. And if u press the button again for over 2 sec, the flashlight will be off soon.
If without any operation or signal, it will be auto power off in 3 mins.
AC Voltage detection
Put the probe close to the AC voltage, the pilot light will be on and the analog phase & data will change according to the voltage signal, the buzzer will be also changed .If the voltage is below 36V, it will show green light, if above 36V it will show red light & danger signal..
Normally, when using the tester pen to distinguish the zero-line, pls test the two lines(or 3 lines), the one which shows the largest data is the live line, the one smaller is the zero-line or earth-line.
Note 1:If the socket design is different or the circuit is wrong so you can’t distinguish the zero-line according to the signal, pls be very careful and this is a special situation.
Note 2:If the zero-line and live-line are very close, pls test them separately if u want to distinguish the zero-line. If u can’t separate the two lines, pls put the distance of the two lines as far as possible and test.
Voltage display
As it is non contact measuring so the data changes according to the distance and environment. If distance & environment too much different, then the measuring results will be also different and the result is just reference, u can’t base on the result to distinguish the Zero-line. If over AC220V, the max voltage display is 220V, but the actual voltage would be lager and pls be careful.
Auto power off
The tester pen will be auto power off after 3 mins without any operation or signal to save the battery life.
Low battery indication
When the battery is low, the display will show“”, and if below 2.3V, the tester pen will be power off and u should change the battery if this happen again.
